Being considered as a hidden paradise by the locals, Tinipak River is slowly rising as a competitive tourist spot for local and foreign tourists. Tinipak River is located at the foot of Sierra Madre Mountain in Brgy. Daraitan, Tanay, Rizal.

 

The name “Tinipak” refers to the limestone and white marble formations in the river that have been naturally carved by the flowing waters. The origin of these limestones is still a mystery, but the locals believe in a myth that the patchy formations of the limestones is caused by the battle’s aftermath between a two raging giants.

 

Tinipak River features a sporadic formations of limestones and crystal clear river, it is also awarded for being the cleanest inland body of water in the entire Region IV. It is a perfect place for wide varieties of adrenaline-rush-activities such as hiking, rappelling, river-crossing, swimming, spelunking, etc. that will surely attract a lot of adventurers whether foreign or local. With this, Tinipak River is not unlikely to have a competitor when it comes to the previously stated activities that Tinipak River offers.
