TREKKING

Tinipak River is cradled in the hidden paradise of Brgy. Daraitan in Tanay, Rizal. Brgy. Daraitan is a humble traditional community lies in the foot of Sierra Madre Mountain. Reaching the river requires uncountable footsteps which will really give you a pumping experience that adventure-lover would really enjoy.

SWIMMING

The highlights of the trek are getting to the spot of the glorious giant sized marbles carved and swimming in the most tranquil part of the river. The water is refreshingly cool, freezing though.

Moreover, Tinipak River is awarded as the cleanest inland body of water in Region IV. 

SPELUNKING

Aside from the towering limestone walls and clean freshwater, the place also boasts of an underground cave where cold spring water flows out to join the Tinipak River.  

 

The entrance to the cave is a hole just wide enough for one person at a time to pass through. It is a downward climb where one has to cling onto the sharp edged stonewall.  Going there requires extra caution as the passageway is slippery and the tunnel is composed of cracked and broken limestone ground. 
 

HIKING

Hiking in Mt. Daraitan is a minor climb with 4/9 difficulty rating. Minor yet expect of more ascent trails. The trails are likewise as Pico de Loro but you need to put an extra energy, your lungs and intestines shall require you to get more air. The trail is well-maintained and covered with rocks and muddy. But nothing to worry there are trees to hold.

 

RAPPELLING

Trail trekking doesn't solely refer to regular walking. Getting to the main attraction of Tinipak River includes a short rappelling and rock climbing. Not to worry because our tour guide will ensure your saftey all through out.

 

CAMPING

There are three campsite locations in Mt. Daraitan. First one is the largest that can accommodate up to 10-15 tents, but it's far enough to get to the summit. Second is about 15 minutes away to the summit and the last one is at the summit itself.
